A tribute to today’s woman who is capable of such quiet circumspection and love, whose creative role is wiped away time and again by the bleakness of everyday life.

“In observing another human being we are so prone to succumbing to the mechanism of ‘categorizing.’ Social comfort, consumer terror and the circumstances of modern living keep many of us on the surface. ‘Deepness’ is seldom asked for. Each human nevertheless has such a diversity of personal traits and facets with which he reacts to the different impulses of life, that I consider it equally important to open up these categories as well as develop patience and compassion for one’s fellow-man.

In my eyes, a woman is uniquely capable to a vast amount of diversity on account of her beauty and inspiration. While she is the bearer of our descendants, our muse and often erotic fulfillment, our mother and that of our children, she frequently has to perform extra duty in profession, education, economics and politics. She is the one whose beauty endures even in the fading light of age and whose many faces give wings to our world.”

This cycle of pictures is still in development. It will encompass 99 paintings and then be exhibited to the public. The artist consciously chooses different techniques in order to emphasize the diversity of a personality.
